Ephesians 2:6
We are raised with him. God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. He also raises us up with him. Not only that, but he seats us with him. We know that Jesus will be seated in glory and in a place of honor. He is highly exalted and at his name, every knee will bow. However, somehow, we are seated with him. It is also in the active present tense or something like that. It's not just that we will be seated in the future. The seating is described as present tense. At this moment, our position, as one who has been made alive in Christ, we are currently positioned as seated with Christ. This is crazy and hard to comprehend, but it is also really amazing and cool in whatever little bit of it I think I can grasp.
