Ephesians 2:2

This is the way those alive in Christ used to walk. We used to walk in deadness in our trespasses and sins. This is the course of the world, that which we followed. Who is the world following? They're following the prince of the power of the air. This is Satan, who is at work leading the world astray. He is at work in these people who are also called the sons of disobedience. They disobey, that's what they do. As much as we can point and look at them and their miserable state, we cannot forget that we used to be like that. We were led astray like them following the path the world takes. We were like that, and it's quite sad seeing them following this in their deadness knowing that we are no longer dead, but alive.
