``Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.``
Deuteronomy 6:4-9
No matter what the laws are, the first and the most important and the only command from God, really, is to ``Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength``. And the next one is to spread this message to your children, to your closest friends and family, to your neighborer, and to all your surrounding, whether at school, at work, on the street, in Canada, in China, or in Africa. This is exactly what Jesus, the son of God, teaches you as well.
``Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the desert these forty years, to humble you and to test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands.``
Deuteronomy 8:2
When going through hard time in life, remember that trails are a test from God. It is `to test you in order to know what was in your heart`. The goal for the test is not to win the test, but going through all trails or tests, we got to unwrap the goodness of God a little more and little. But remember, God is a faithful God. Although the ultimate goal is not to get the prices from God, but by just being in the present of God, you are already satisfied in Him. Yet, this is something hard to understand.
``You may say to yourself, "My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me." But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today.
If you ever forget the LORD your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed. Like the nations the LORD destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the LORD your God.``
Deuteronomy 8:17-20
When going through fruitful time in life, keep remember that He is the one who brought us out of Egypt. There is nothing we can be proud of. The Lord gives and takes away. When we are fruitful, we should share with those who are thirty, whether they are thirty on bread, or thirty of the Holy Spirit. This is again the second command from the Lord and Jesus Christ.
