more than prophecies

There not much new insight I can offer in my devotions on Jeremiah 48-49 but other that it is about Philistines and Moab destruction. But I think there something to it behind Jeremiah's prophecies, something that hold true. If compare ourselves to all the destruction that was listed upon the philistines and Moab, there is some kind of truth about us. We are no different them them the only different is that we receive pardon from Christ. Even at that, we still put a mockery on What Christ has done but living our lives base upon the desire of our sinful hearts. This is what prophecies are like they bring us back to reality sense that we ought to remember better that God is God and were not. As simple as it sounds and truthful it may sound in the end we are nothing like human beings who always forgets.
