“Do not surprise at the painful trial you are suffering…” Suffering is a proof that you are doing the right thing for Christ. As a Christian if we have been living in life with comfort all the time, without challenge in faith, we have to re-examine our spiritual walk with God.
Yesterday I had a chance to talk with Auntie Salina about the challenges in the pro-modern world, like Canada, to get people closer to God. As a Christian who cares about Christ and the unsaved souls, we are suffering deep down because we see people is missing God, yet we see their heart is like a harden rock. Even those who go to church, some of them no longer have the passion to Christ. People don’t realize they need God until storm come o their life. May God comfort those who are suffering.
My heart is broken and upset to see the situation of church and this society. What should I do to stand up for God, and be the light of the world? We all need Christ, but we don’t see Him. Lord, sometimes even I fall into the traps.
We have to admit that we are sinner, and admit that we need Christ; then keep in mind that Christ is coming back very soon! Day by day, we are reviewing the bible in our daily news. Climate changes, nation against nations, son hates the parents, living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, etc. We need the awareness of Christ return, to live our day for Christ, and be our best to be the light of the world, give people hope and love. There is time of discouragement and sufferings. Be rejoices in suffering, because you are already blessed in the name of Christ, and He will rest us.
