Acts 24

So in this chapter Paul is before Felix as a number of Jews bring accusations against Paul. Paul makes his defense, letting them know what he said and what he believes. The claims made against Paul are not true and cannot be proven, and it is even interesting that the specific and initial accusers are not there.

Felix has an accurate knowledge of the Way, which is what they called the followers of Jesus Christ. He postpones the decision of this case until a later time. He has frequent meetings with Paul, hearing about faith in Jesus. However, these frequent meetings are also in hopes that Paul would offer Felix money, which Paul never does. Two years go by and Felix is succeeded by Porcius Festus.
