In Lystra, Paul speaks the gospel to others. There is a man lame from birth who hears Paul speaking. Paul saw his faith and instructed him to stand to his feet, and he did. The crowds see this miracle and begin treating Paul and Barnabas like gods. However, when Paul and Barnabas learn about this, they tear their garments, telling the people not to do such a thing because they are just men and not gods. They had trouble keeping the crowds from sacrificing to them.
However, some Jews win over the crowd. These Jews are from Antioch and Iconium, which are the last two cities that Paul and Barnabas visited. I guess these Jews went searching for Paul and Barnabas and actually found them. So they stoned Paul. I guess they didn't do a good job at it, because apparently Paul wasn't dead. Perhaps he was dead, but God saved him. Regardless, he seems fine for the most part and they leave for Derbe.
They preach the gospel in Derbe and many people believe. They also return to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch, strengthening the disciples there. Elders are appointed, and Paul and Barnabas go to Pamphylia, preaching the word in Perga and then going to Attalia. Then they go to Antioch and stayed there a long time.
