Titus 2:15-3:1

These things Paul is telling Titus are to be taught. It is very important the teaching of these things. Paul then moves on to encourage the teaching of other things. First of all, we see that we are to be submissive to rulers and authorities. It may have been a bigger deal to be submissive to rulers in that time to the Jews. They were under Roman rule and they may have longed for a savior to overthrow the Roman government and be their king. As you may already know, they didn't get the king they wanted, but King Jesus was better than what they expected.
