Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
so that sinners will turn back to you.
(v13, NIV)
When God's ways are taught to transgressors, sinners will turn back to God. We can see this in the events surrounding this Psalm. Nathan approached David and rebuked him for that sin he had committed. He spoke the word of the Lord and David turned back to God. How can anyone turn back to God if they are not taught the ways of God? This goes the same for us. Not only do we need to teach others, but we need to be taught. When a "Nathan" approaches you about sin in your life, will you turn back to God? Learn his ways and see from David's example how we are to act when our sins are revealed.
