Romans 3:22

This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference,

This is a righteousness from God which is not from the law. We see how in the past people have tried to attain a righteousness from the law. Unfortunately, they have all come short. So if there is now a righteousness from God apart from the law, this begs the question, "how do we receive it?" This righteousness only comes through faith in Jesus Christ. It is for all who believe. It is not by works because it is not through the law. It is quite a relief to know that it isn't by our efforts at all. Instead, it is from God and based on Jesus Christ. This is good news and brings hope.
