All have turned away,
they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
not even one."
(v12, NIV)
This verse and continued quote of Psalms 14 seems to continue on the same idea as the last few verses. Simply put, no one is righteous. Not only do they not seek for God, but they seem to have turned away. The direction they are facing is opposite to God. In addition, the exception people may raise is again dismissed. Some may argue that they are good and an exception to what is being said. However, "not even one" is repeated from verse 10. This all continue to point to the focus, which is "under sin". What does it mean to be under sin? Well, we're not righteous and have turned away from God. We don't even do good, how terrible is that? The word "worthless" is even in there. It's just really sad what our situation is.
