Romans 3:21

But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.

(v21, NIV)

We are now entering gospel territory. A righteousness from God the good news. It's great news to hear that the standard of perfect righteousness that we must achieve is a righteousness from God. So the very thing God demands from us he gives to us. We cannot merit his favor by our own efforts or works. This righteousness from God is apart from the law. So, those who seek to gain it through the law will fail again and again. This gospel is ever so sweet and ever so good.
