But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.

God is patient with us. The way in which he shows his kindness to us it that he postpones his wrath upon us. We deserve punishment for our sins, but he withholds it until a later time. The idea is that he gives us time allowing us the opportunity to come to repentance. However, when the time is given, if we continue to live in our sin we are storing up wrath that will be unleashed against us. There is coming a day when God's righteous judgement will be revealed, and our stubbornness only heaps up this wrath until the day of God's wrath. Do not be stubborn or unrepentant. Repent and turn from your sins and turn to Jesus Christ the Lord.
