Elijah was the only prophet of Lord verses many prophets of other gods. It reminds me that our number is small but we are always victory in the name of Jesus, son of God, and the only true God in the universe as He created this universe and everything.
As a human Elijah to take up such a big responsibility, it is always not easy. He cried out to God, he seek God for understanding, and God listened to his prayer and God provide everything he needed.
We too sometimes face many spiritual and physical difficulties in life; sometimes we don't understand God's plan, but we just need to depends on Him, do everything in life that is pleasing to Him, and our life will be long, according to His will. Keep ourself from idols.
