I was away this weekend, but this is what I wrote for yesterday:
God is the one who saves us, but it is given to us through Christ Jesus. Jesus was sent by the father down to the earth, living the perfect life we couldn’t and died in our place. He did it so that we could be saved. Without Jesus, we have no chance to be saved. Paul describes Jesus as abolishing death and bringing life through the gospel. So God’s plan is executed through Jesus who brings these things to light through the gospel.
