“All men are like grass
And all their glory is like the flowers of the field;
The grass withers and the flowers fall,
But the word of the Lord stands forever.”
1Peter 1:24
Today I continue look at 1 Peter 1:9-25, 2:1-3. It says that we have to live our life as strangers on earth in reverent fear, because nothing can be taken after life, but the salvation from Jesus Christ. So set my hope FULLY to the grace, and prepare my mind for action, not to fall into the evil things. Get rid of all sham, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of all kind. Be transform in the mind, like a new born baby.
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect” Romans 12:2
Lord, help me to remember that, as I am living in this world, always turn my eyes upon you. Life is short in this sinful world, so don’t take account of what is in the earth, but remember the purpose of life is to magnify your glory to others; bring hope and love to the nature, as that’s how you have saved my soul in the beginning.
